The Secretary of the LCMS World Mission, Rev. Jorge Groh, and the Associate Executive Director of the CTCR for the LCMS, Rev. Dr. Jerald Joersz, talked about the partnership that the IELB and LCMS World Mission have established in the social work area. Groh mentioned the ongoing project in Panama, where the Brazilian pastor Walter Ries Jr. is working now, emphasizing the difficulties felt by the young pastor in the beginning of the work. "No missionary is totally ready as he leaves the Seminary, but he goes to mission with all the needed tools to, in prayer and faithfulness to God, work on mission in any place on earth", said the Secretary.
