We believe, teach, and confess that the Sacrament of Holy Baptism was instituted by Jesus as a means of grace through which the Holy Spirit “works the remission of sins, delivers from death, and gives eternal life to all who believe.” Through Baptism, children receive faith and become children of God; for adults, Baptism seals the forgiveness of sins. As long as someone remains in the faith, they enjoy the blessings of Baptism. Baptism should be administered only once, in the name of the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe, teach and confess that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man. As the Son of God, begotten by the Father from eternity He is, in all senses, equal to the Father and to the Holy Spirit. As true man, he was born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was born without sin and He is, in every sense, truly man. As our substitute, He fulfilled God’s law, suffered for our sins, and through His sacrifice and death consummated his work of reconciliation. He descended into hell to show His victory over all our enemies. Jesus Christ is the only Savior of humanity. Apart from Him there is no salvation. Jesus will return to this world to judge the living and the dead.
