We believe, teach and confess that each and every transgression of God’s holy law is sin. Each thought, word, or deed contrary to God’s will is sin. Each sin is a rebellion against God. Sin is the cause of all the misery in this world. Man is accountable to God and will have to give an account of his life. And God will judge everyone.

We believe, teach and confess that God, in His infinite love, has not abandoned men in their ruin, but decided to save them through the obedience, suffering, and death of His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the good news of this salvation. In the Gospel, God offers forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation to all people. All repentant sinners, who trust in the promises of the Gospel, have what these words say and promise: forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.
